In 2012, FiA | Hi | Ni China and Natural & Nutraceutical Products China (NPC), the most professional food & beverage shows in China, will take place on 26 - 28 June in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

As the members of the Food Ingredients Portfolio of UBM Live, FiA | Hi | Ni China and Natural & NPC have already been held in China for 13 years.

In 2011, the shows won great praise in the food industry. The three-day fairs in the SNIEC, along with CPhI - the biggest pharmaceutical show in Asia, attracted 46,474 professional buyers - an astonishing 35% growth from 2010.

The shows also featured 2,334 excellent enterprises from all over the world. According to the official statistics, over 68% of exhibitors met new clients in our shows and 89% of attendees and companies thought our shows were much more professional than others in the industry.

The thriving records in 2011 and the booming food and beverage industries in Asia indicate the world’s growing need for the Asia’s ingredients and natural products.

At the present, the global food ingredients market values U.S. $20 billion. China, as the most potential country in the Asia, owns several leading records in the world’s food and beverage industry, such as the export of citric acid, production of xylitol and the consumption of dairy. With the continually increasing export of vitamin B, China is expected to be the biggest vitamin B producer in the world.

In 2012, FiA | Hi | Ni China and NPC will return to Shanghai China with new product zones for Vita, Dairy, FiPPS (Food Ingredients Processing, Safety & Services), Traditional Chinese Medicines, Products for Babies and Maternity, Products for Beauty, Organic Products and so on. The shows, coupled with CPhI, will occupy a total of 13 halls with 150,000 square metres of area at the SNIEC.

Conferences and awards organized by IUFoST, Ringier AG, Shanghai Food Additive Trade Association (SFATA), Shanghai Health-care Products Association (SHPA) and other industry associations will focus on the hot spots in the industry; bring the latest development trends and innovations.

As international shows, FiA | Hi | Ni China and NPC will also feature country pavilions from USA, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.

Over 60,000 serious buyers worldwide are expected to attend in 2012. According to show officials, FiA | Hi | Ni China 2012 and NPC 2012 are believed to make the global attention focus on the Asia’s food and beverage industry again.
